Oddly enough, most of the girls met at T-ball, playing for the Ninja Tigers.
After that season, one of the parents started a basketball team.(circa '95)
Since then, some members have come and gone... but the team has managed
to remain together through the hard work of the coaches, parents, and most
importantly, the players...
The Rangers are under the Gardena Evening Optimist (GEO). They reside
and play throughout the South Bay area of LA and currently play in the
Girls 7th grade division. Coached by Mark Nakamoto, John Ibarra, and
Bryce Yamauchi, they have won a few Tournaments, and play regularly
in the GEO and SEYO Leagues.
